All ink is dry - do not buy!

I got this for Christmas and they just told me all the ink is dry! I insisted on seeing the kit - I'm so upset and confused! And of course this applies beyond the return period, so nobody is responsible for a bad product experience.

Set from the 1980s, don't expect working ink cartridges

My late Aunt P. gave me in got one of these as a gift in the 80s. Ink cartridges that are almost 40 years old can no longer be used. The pen itself is an inexpensive Sheaffer no-nonsense line, not a premium line like the Targa. The reference book is serviceable, but also not particularly inspired. I wouldn't spend more than 20 euros for it, Lamy Joy or Rotring Artpen make more sense.

The Sheaffer Calligraphy Set was very awful. The ink cartridges were completely empty

The Sheaffer calligraphy set was terrible. The ink cartridges were completely empty. They seemed to have evaporated or dried up. The pen had no writing issues after I put in a Sheaffer Script ink cartridge. However, paying close to $50 for a pen that isn't worth $10 is not at all attractive. dry ink. Overall, I'm not happy with Sheaffer Calligraphy.
