I only cook in soft dishes, but they scratch very easily and rust appears in the scratches. Barely a year old. When you read "Hard Anodized Cookware" assume it's pretty durable. Don't waste money. There are many more purchase options. (5 fingers down).

We have found that after 2.5 years of use only the coating on our pots has worn off. We only use wooden spoons and, on rare occasions, metal tongs or a whisk when needed. Very disappointed after this time that we have to replace the pots. They are used daily and we expected them to last a lot longer given the price paid.

I was very happy to receive it and carefully took everything out of the box, noticing a rather unpleasant smell. I hand washed and dried each piece and the smell stayed. It was such a strong toxic smell that I would never feel safe cooking. I was disappointed but grateful for the easy return. I don't know if that was an isolated case or if it's the same for everyone.

I was very happy to receive this set a few weeks ago. I like the weight of the pots and the tight lids. But the skillets are disappointing. They're not very sticky. When I crack eggs in either of the two smaller ones, even if I use oil, I have to fill it with water, let it soak for a few minutes, and then use a rubber spatula to scrape out any eggs that are stuck to it. If you're looking for easy-to-clean nonstick pans, this isn't your option. I certainly wouldn't buy them again.

I expected to be amazed. I bought in July 2020 and didn't use the kit very much and I refused to use it on other occupants of the house, it's just me. I have used the standard pot several times and noticed scratches and coatings. So in November (only 4 months) I filed a warranty claim with Calphalon. I like them, they work great BUT I'm a little concerned about heat transfer to the grips. I'm sure Calphalon R&D checked their numbers, but the pen gets pretty warm, almost hot.
