Reliable Gasket for Yamaha's Engines

This gasket is a lifesaver for automotive enthusiasts who spend countless hours tinkering with their cars. It fits perfectly with no leaks, and its durable construction shows great value for money. However, installation can be a bit tricky for those who are not used to working with engine parts. Overall, a great addition to your toolbox for any Yamaha engine owner, ensuring proper cooling to keep your car running smoothly.

Pros
  • Good quality mechanical gasket
Cons
  • Requires maintenance and replacement after a certain period of time

Done wrong and doesn't fit.

The gasket looks good but the metal flange is too big and doesn't fit the water pump, I have a 2000 and 2003 Yamaha Kodiak 400. Some say you can file the metal part but expect new parts to fit . Very disappointed that Amazon allows defective parts to be sold here without recourse.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Small things

Nice conversion kit to keep the oil out of the coolant.

Good recovery kit. The large metal cup seal has a larger lip than the original. I had to use a Dremel tool with a grinding wheel to grind down the edge to fit the recess in the pump housing. I've never done this restoration before so the YouTube video was invaluable.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price
