Cambro 1 Quart Clear Container with Lid Review

Bought for my starter. I love that it's made in the USA, but I'm very disappointed that it's not BPA-free. The lid is difficult to remove.

I use these for sourdough and they are great. They are easy to clean up and the lines on them help to track the growth I am getting from them.

This is a great storage container. Unfortunately, my arthritis doesn't allow me to remove the lid myself. Even my 14 year old grandson couldn't open it. Younger, more flexible joints may be able to handle it, but that's not a problem for me.

I can't remove the lid. I asked a male friend who is much stronger than me for help and he finally got it and said it was extremely difficult. It's very durable, but I'll have to come up with something else to use for the lid.

Only 3 stars for durability because a product with a lid doesn't deserve more at the time of sale. The container itself is 5 stars. But if you manage to get the cover in, you'll need a prybar to remove it. So the case is completely useless.
