This is premium, commercial quality material that will last forever. Now I have 4 types of Cambro canisters and they are all as strong as nails. I'm so tired of using takeout containers at restaurants or the ones you buy at the grocery store that sell out within a year. The Cambros will last long enough that I'm considering putting them in my will.

We use this in the restaurant where I cook. I have a set to take home now, but they're a drain on my wallet compared to storing consumer products. Apart from the price, a great product! You absolutely get what you pay for. Do not use steel wool or other metals to clean them as this will slowly degrade them leaving scratches where bacteria can enter.

Round Cambro I've had for years. They are good actors. Why, why aren't these square lids airtight and leaking? They release liquid when they squint a little on the fridge shelf. They even rattle a little. So NOT my favorite, but I like the size and shape of Qt 3.5. They're arguably indestructible for their intended use, so make sure you're willing to live with the square coverage issue for the rest of your life.

I wanted an ice bin. It had to be of a certain size and durable. Luckily my wife has several of these in different sizes. But I won't use their ice packs. i'm not that dumb So I bought my own from Revain and it works great. Whatever you decide to use it for, just know that the quality is very good. The plastic is thick but malleable so it won't break like hard plastic. The lid fits perfectly and is also thick and pliable. very satisfied with this product.

If you plan to ONLY use it for storing dry ingredients and the infrequent wash, then this is for you! However, I've used them to rise bread dough and although I've only used them a couple of times, the green ink used to mark the dimensions on the outside of the container had already come off where my wet fingers touched it. I'm an artisan soap maker and enjoy making my soap masterbatches for a much bigger company than I am - they would still be undersized, but I'm still a "little potato" compared to many.
