If you plan to ONLY use it for storing dry ingredients and the infrequent wash, then this is for you! However, I've used them to rise bread dough and although I've only used them a couple of times, the green ink used to mark the dimensions on the outside of the container had already come off where my wet fingers touched it. It didn't happen the first time I used the containers but on my second or third use I noticed I had green ink on my fingers and found the measurements had slipped off the container onto my fingers. The printed measurements where touched are quite dark now and will soon disappear entirely. Soap container only by hand.
