Disappointed purchase. Pass this product.

We bought this mirror last July when we first received our new caravan. On the third exit, the suction failed and the mirror fell off, hitting the side of our truck. Of course, the 30-day return period had expired, so that was our loss. We gave the mirror and suction cup area a thorough cleaning, but still didn't stop. Pass this mirror, the concept is good but it doesn't work properly.

  • Decent performance

They work great. for mirrors and parts

I've had one like this for years and it's clocked thousands of miles on an FJ Cruiser towing a Minnie Winnie 1801FB. I accidentally sat on it and broke the mirror. The new one arrived yesterday and meets my expectations. Also spring-loaded for the convex passenger mirror. For better suction, wipe the mirror, lick your thumb and run it along the rim of the cup before tightening. Your side mirror will fall off before the suction stops!

Pros
  • Easy to use

It really works! for outside mirror

My last set vibrated so badly on the road that it was almost unusable and I was always afraid that the straps it was attached to would come loose. I lost one once walking down the street. The biggest problem was that I had to help adjust the passenger side and it was always not quite right. These sets stay in place even in the Texas heat, and because they're attached to a real mirror, they can be adjusted from inside the car. The best part is that they don't wobble on the street. Good product…

but I was very disappointed with the new Colorado style.

It is important for this product that its mirror can be adjusted independently of the rod to which it is attached. I could actually steer where it was pointing with my power mirrors, but what was left were tow mirrors that showed me what I wanted or truck mirrors that showed me what I wanted without compromising. Couple that with the fact that the towing mirror was just an enlarged focus of what my side view could already show me and it was literally useless to me. I know a lot of people swear…

Great mirrors: Outside mirrors

I have a 2013 Ford Expedition EL and drove 4 hours these mirrors worked great. I used to not be able to see around my 33ft forest river, but with these mirrors mounted as close to the edge of the mirror as possible, it worked great. I wiped the mirrors and suction cups with alcohol and they don't move. But I tightened the suction cup as much as I could and without any problems was very happy I bought them instead of one of the other options. I wish the mirrors were a little bigger and they…

Be sure to stay where you are!

It really got stuck in my mirror! When I first encountered this product I wasn't sure if suction would be the most secure attachment mechanism. However, I've recently driven 1500 miles and both mirrors are still in place! And it even covered a microcrack in my mirror! I was certain that eventually the air would seep under the plunger and release it. But he stayed fast the whole ride! It has a tiny cable that wraps around the existing mirror, so just in case it lets it go when we're not going…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • I don't like it at all, everything is fine
