If you look at the photos the bayonet has a rib that holds the hose to the fitting when the screw clamp is tightened. The hub mount has no lug. Also, the hose end of the hub is tapered so that when the yoke is tight the hose will tend to slip off the tapered end because there is no rib to hold it in place. Too bad. The fittings are good and strong but the hub is one of the worst I've come across. If you look at the Valterra F02-2028 faucet, you will see that it has the right projection.

Bought this CAMCO "RV Sewage Hose Swivel Kit" and a replacement CAMCO feed hose. They don't work together. The hose is exactly the same size as the fittings, so you won't be able to "tighten" it as instructed. In fact, to get it to work I had to cut the wire around 3 loops or so, then cut the tubing and THEN put it with effort onto the fittings and tighten the clamp. You need at least 3 hands to do this. I'm not sure if I received a defective item. Or if the design isn't perfect but unlike Camco's gray faucets, this faucet leaks. Luckily I tested it with gray water before emptying the black water tank otherwise I would have been a real mess on my hands. It does not flow from the hose to the fitting, but from the fitting to the relief valve. Apparently the problem is with the O-ring.
