Well made but weak magnets

Good hard plastic, good design but magnets not strong enough. Another reviewer said he stuck some stronger magnets on top of the built in magnets because they didn't stick well enough and I encountered the same problem and used the same solution. Unfortunately, the magnets cost the same as the lid, which doesn't make it a good price overall. The original bumper cover has ribs that hold it in place fairly well, but now this cover holds much better with the new magnets. Now I just hope someone…

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Good but not great

No more lost covers or hoses

I have been driving an RV for 40 years and have lost many duct bumper end caps and even a few hoses. I can't understand why someone didn't come up with this idea sooner. The channel plug is the perfect solution. Not only does the magnet hold it in the bumper, the cover also has an eyelet for attaching to the drain hose connector (Camco Rhino) so that when the cover is pulled off the drain hose comes out with it. You no longer have to dig through that ugly bumper to find a hose. A magnetic end…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Good idea, should be more durable

I bought this hose cover on 12/28/19 and this review was written on 10/21 so I'm giving an outsider's perspective on it for almost two years. PROS: The case fits great, the magnets hold the bumper well, and the "smelly" clips are right in the lid so you don't have to touch them to release them from the bumper. The vents are small to avoid wasp nests. CONS: I wish it was more durable. Minimal use in the last 2 years and it's already cracking. I don't abuse it but it's outside so I suspect it…

Requires some breaking

For those who don't have strong hands and fingers, they are tough enough to push into bumper edges or remove. I'll have to use a hammer and maybe they'll break over time (I hope) or at higher temperatures. I was worried that even with staples, they could be easily stolen. Actually, you need a hammer to even attach the clips to the bumper, so it's not that easy to steal, at least not with the clip intact. But still, they're quite easy to steal without a clip if someone really needs them. I'm…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Strong fingers required

I bought this van rear bumper cover thinking it would be nice to have something that actually works. My previous cover came off after riding so I should have taped it to keep it from coming off. After finally putting them on the trailer, I found that the attached wire was very difficult to "attach" to the bumper. Actually you have to use a hammer to attach it and then when you attach it backwards like I did you have to pry it from what destroys the clamp. I couldn't push hard enough to release…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
