Good hard plastic, good design but magnets not strong enough. Another reviewer said he stuck some stronger magnets on top of the built in magnets because they didn't stick well enough and I encountered the same problem and used the same solution. Unfortunately, the magnets cost the same as the lid, which doesn't make it a good price overall. The original bumper cover has ribs that hold it in place fairly well, but now this cover holds much better with the new magnets. Now I just hope someone doesn't come and steal it.
