Strong but short

Work as in the description. The only question is the length of the Velcro. Should be a few inches longer for those of us with awnings with a bit more space between the material and the awning bracket it attaches to.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • So-so

Victory over the wind

This is fantastic. We bought a pergola with a canopy in Lowes. They are adjustable enough to perfectly fit the top joists and keep them in place. I live on a very windy rock so when I say they work well trust me!

Pros
  • Still satisfied
Cons
  • Fading away

Perfect fit for the awning

I never thought our awning would sag so much. That does the trick! The length of the straps is a little short, but we managed. This can also be used to hang items from a pole on the side of the canopy. Nothing serious, just simple things. Beats with clothespins on awnings!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I have no complaints everything is just perfect

DeFlapper Canopy for Windy and Rainy Days

The highest quality RV canopy you need to keep the wind and rain out. Remember to measure how far your tent is from the pole. I realized that for the most peaceful solution, I also needed a patio cover strap. Got Revain, these https://amzn.to/3r34Ptg are perfect for my RV carport. feel stronger

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor issues

The best I've found!

These are by far the best I've found. They stay in place even in fairly strong winds. If something heavier, I would still dismantle the awning. The straps were long enough for me, but Home Depot sells Velcro (fluffy on one side and hook on the other) so making them longer if needed isn't a problem. They are far superior to any plastic t-bars I've had before. Highly recommended to all!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost never

Great addition to an RV awning

Although I only have a 10ft awning I ordered 2 pairs of these awnings and they work well (2 on each side) keeping the canopy from swaying Wind. Keeps the fabric tight so water can drain better. I have a Carefree from Colorado and it's better than de-flappers which are attached to stabilizer arms which are fixed and cannot be adjusted. I also heard that while they are adjustable in length, they are sometimes too short.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good and durable van parts and accessories

We use these on our Sunsetter canopy as it stays up in all but the worst of storms. They prevent the canvas from swaying (hence the name) and damaging it or the supporting structure. They're fairly durable, being in the sun constantly from early spring to late fall, and are a lot cheaper than factory parts. Velcro straps are much easier to use than elastic straps, last longer and never come loose accidentally.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Damaged

We have an old and worn (and repeatedly patched) awning on our motorhome. I was always nervous when the wind started flapping the awning. These "distractors" work great. Since I'm very worried about our old tonneau cover tearing at the RV's edge attachment point, I bought two more sets for a total of six brackets (three on each side). Now I only worry if the wind gets so strong that the problem is in the entire "sail" of the canopy. Flapping at the edges is now a thing of the past. A note on…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
