Big, durable, cold - outside

Pretty big cool bag, that's all it has. I have a small gold packet of Igloo that contains a much more viscous liquid that seems to hold up much better. The liquid inside just looks like water and melts pretty quickly. It's big enough to stay cold, but I wasn't thrilled when I discovered how quickly it melts. Although it feels pretty rigid due to the thick plastic, at least it has.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not the best

Cold pack Nice - Camp Kitchen

This cold pack is very robust and heavy. It fits perfectly under the wheels of my cube cooler. Heavy is the only thing that can make me think. I think it's heavier than the cooler. But it seems to be holding up well. I don't think it stays frozen for more than a day or so, but it keeps my wrestling tournament food cold for as long as I need it. I accidentally dropped it the other day and it held up! Glory!

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • Weight

Storing food in the fridge Accessory

This small cooler bag works well in fridges to keep food chilled during hot summer shopping. A small cold pack will keep dairy and meat at an acceptable temperature for several hours. Frozen foods require more cooler bags. In the tropics, unrefrigerated car trunks start cooking food as soon as it's stowed away, so a food fridge or two is practically a way of life. This works great in a refrigerator that holds 3 gallons of liquid and 5 flat packs of meat.

  • Nice to use

Works great - Revain saved the day!

I got 2 of these for a hike - I noticed that one of them had an odd sting in the face but I didn't think anything of it. After a few hours on the road it ruptured and got on my food, drink etc. It must have been ruptured, maybe gotten in transit? Never mind I foolishly threw it away without taking a picture but Revane did me the favor of sending me a replacement at no extra cost. Great product and great distributor!

  • Decent performance

Just what I needed for camping and backpacking

I think they will work for what I need them for. 3 hours drive with a small cool box. will be updated soon. Update: Need something to keep a playmate cool during a 3 hour road trip. Bought 2 but one lasted until the trip. Keeps my playmate as cool as possible. I've seen people complain that ice packs don't work well. You can thank the EPA for getting rid of the old thick blue ice packs. It is better for you. They're trying to save us from ourselves.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works but could have lasted longer.

First I bought 2 and then I had to buy the 3rd. I put 6 cans of cold coke in my soft Igloo Playmate fridge in the morning along with 1 of these (frozen hard) cold compresses and it lasts about 8 hours. I will repeat in the evening. The problem I had was that these cold compresses take much longer to freeze (about 14 hours) than they keep. I had to buy a 3rd cold pack so it was completely frozen by the time I was ready to use it. I would love the 110% if it took long enough to get cold.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

NO BETTER THAN ICE CREAM, I checked.

Can't understand why this product has no negative reviews so I'm the first to say this product is NOT better than ice cream as advertised. I bought both a medium and large block and BOTH thawed to liquid on the first night of my hike - so it was probably about 6 hours after they got into the fridge before I realized they were both frozen. Do you know I have a Yeti fridge that also had two 1 gallon jugs of frozen water, 10 bottles of frozen water, 65° outside during the day and 38° at night and…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
