I needed a flexible hose to direct gray water into the tank. I cut off half of the hose because the tank is very close to the sink. Also cut the other end of the adapter to fit the gas cap. Then you will get the result attached to the image. No spills, just unscrew the gas cap and empty the tank. This is probably the cheapest method.

I used this to create a sink drain in my home built RV and it was a great solution to this problem. It is easy to assemble and seals well. I paired this with a Lasco RV265 1 1/2 Iron Pipe Junior Duo Screen and Basket which is inexpensive and works great with it. Just drill a 1.5 inch hole in the wall or floor. Okay guys if you think I've tried to figure out exactly what it is and it's not well described I'll try to be clear. Think of it as a mini trap. I bought this to divert the sink in a 1992 RV because the sink drain went into the black water tank and was only 6 gallons.
