Holds Colder Liquids

Holds liquids colder than regular camel bugs. Definitely worth the extra cost. It's taller than usual, so it won't fit in a vertical seatpost mount.

Pros
  • Useful beyond intended purpose
Cons
  • Appearance

Beat the TX heat while cycling

This bottle is a game changer. Insulates so well, when I'm freezing at night, there's usually mud in it and it holds up well. Highly recommended for the summer!

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • I don't really like anything about it everything is fine

Keeps Cold: Bottled water

This bottle is filled with water, about half a bottle of ice. Did a weekly 25 mile bike ride in 85 degree California weather and still had semi-cold water in by the end of the ride. Not a bad camelback. not bad.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Annoying

Keeps ice frozen, water cold and liquor fresh

I live in the Arizona desert and this thing is money. Best for hot days. If the outside temperature is not hot enough and you freeze the water in the bottle, you have frozen the bottled water for much longer than you would like. My only complaint is with the graphic design options, but this bottle performs like a champ.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Definitely works on hot summer days

I travel in the heat and humidity of New Orleans and Podium Ice works great for me. I've found that filling the bottle with ice and popping it in the freezer the night before keeps my drinks cold during my rides - typically 30-45 miles. You can also add some water before putting it in the freezer for longer trips. I usually have ice left in the bottle when I finish my trip.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • embarrassing

Good insulation, large size, small capacity, slippery, grip tape required

better than other vacuum flasks, but realistically meets your expectations. The weather has just started to get warmer. With about 97°F on the bike today, I carried a regular water bottle and Podium ice, both filled with ice cubes and doused with cold water. Traveling at 17 miles per hour, the ice in a regular bottle melted and the water warmed up in 30 minutes. After about 90 minutes there was still ice in the podium chill. The water ran out at two o'clock but was cold until the end. The…
