Stay hydrated while running

As an aspiring runner, I recognize the need for water while running. This container contains some water as well as a place for keys and a mobile phone. The "X-shaped handle" keeps the backpack in your hand without squeezing it. I can keep my hand free without fear of it falling out. While I was sweating, the backpack stayed in place.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy to use. for outdoor leisure

This is good if you don't plan on taking a larger smartphone (e.g. iPhone Plus) with you. It's also a bit uncomfortable as it gets about half empty. But it works and it's pretty easy to get used to. Definitely easier than carrying around a water bottle as it's attached and you don't have to focus on it as much. I have several CamelBaks so I'm used to the bite system.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Fits

Good Running Bottle

I used to use their S-Labs variant because they were basically the only ones available. CamelBak camels are a bit cheaper and this one also has a case to keep it in place. I don't find running with a bottle particularly comfortable, and sometimes those "soft" bottles are even more of a nuisance, but at least it's an option for running. The bag/holder here is nice, but I try not to put too much weight on my hands.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • negative gift

CamelBak is back on top!

My daughter loves to run, but due to allergies, dryness, heat, she can't do it without frequent drinking. This is perfect for a 3 mile run. It's lightweight and incredibly comfortable to wear on either hand. The only real downside to using it is that my Pixel 3 is about a quarter inch too big to fit in my phone pocket. It's still great for keys, ID, etc. Washing isn't too difficult as the water bag is removable. Overall, for people like me and my daughter, this is a great way to stay hydrated.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So far so good

Comfortable, tastes like plastic

Pros: It's comfortable and stays on hand thanks to the diagonally crossed elastic straps (which fit either hand). The bag is large and the water bladder holds more than it looks (and the bladder shrinks as you drink, making it easier to fill). The mouthpiece, which CamelBak users will recognize, doesn't spill easily and requires you to bite down while drinking. The bad: I washed it multiple times. I put a few drinks in it. And yet it still smells like plastic when I drink from it. lame.

Pros
  • Breathable air mesh: Keeps you cool and comfortable
Cons
  • I'll add later

Two storage pockets, padded, bite, handle only.

Features: Barbed tip, twist lock, mobile phone pocket, smaller pocket for maps, plasters, etc. Mesh sleeve, elastic straps with grippy interior. Easy cleaning. Reflective stripe around zipped phone pocket. I like that it folds up and puts in your pocket, that it's easy to clean and dries quickly. Even though it's a bottle with a handle, they could still add a carabiner loop in case you want to carry it off your belt, backpack, etc. Who wants to hold a bottle all day? The bottle is STRONG. I put

Pros
  • Reflective: for better visibility
Cons
  • Small parts

Not the best choice for accessories

I usually use a Nathan portable bottle for my runs and I love it. I was interested in trying this version of Camelbak because it felt light and the soft bubble felt inviting. After just one run, I can already say I'm sticking with the Nathan bottle. There is a bite on the Camelbak bottle that makes it difficult to use when you're out of breath. A soft bladder seems like a good idea until you drink about half the water. Once you do this, the bottom of the bottle becomes heavy and a bit awkward…

Pros
  • Adjustable wrist strap: for a perfect and secure fit
Cons
  • Unfashionable

They've thought of everything but taste.

See update below. What a step forward in bottled water. The bottle itself is collapsible so it shrinks when empty. It has a bite attachment and an open/close position on the lid to ensure it doesn't leak. The bottle is detachable and can be replaced with a small water bottle if needed. 20 ounces is perfect. The collapsible bottle has a large cap hole, a bit hard in color so the hole doesn't collapse when you try to put the cap back on. The large opening allows for faster filling, emptying…

Pros
  • 17 oz quick release bottle.
Cons
  • Something else
