I JUST PUT IT ON THE CEMENT AND IT HEARD AND NO LEAK! I've had it for 4 months now and just throw it in my bag with no worries. I also like that it never drips on me when I drink.

I bought this product to avoid wasting plastic cups and it turned out to be very pleasant. Especially if you don't want to sip your coffee in one gulp. The only problem is the faucet. It's not easy to clean compared to other bottles, but it's definitely worth it.

UPDATE down: Thermos fell out of my backpack onto the sidewalk and was badly scratched. It doesn't look as pretty/durable now. So far, so good! Just received and did a hot water test run. The lid is completely sealed - both in the drinking area and where the lid joins the cup. I threw it in my bag, rolled it upside down, put it upside down on the counter: NO spills or leaks.
