UPDATE down: Thermos fell out of my backpack onto the sidewalk and was badly scratched. It doesn't look as pretty/durable now. So far, so good! Just received and did a hot water test run. The lid is completely sealed - both in the drinking area and where the lid joins the cup. I threw it in my bag, rolled it upside down, put it upside down on the counter: NO spills or leaks. The drinking nozzle is a bit difficult to clean. But I believe in the disinfecting power of boiling water and some lemon zest! Would recommend to anyone who wants hot drinks to go!
