Doesn't keep drinks cold for long on hot days

I liked it, but it doesn't stay cool for long on hot days outside (not in direct sunlight). I had milk for my son and after a few hours the milk had curdled inside. My son couldn't bite through the spout like with the Contigo, but if you don't pull the spout all the way out and try to shut it, it creates a hole in the straw. Also, the top of the spout holds liquid and is not airtight. So if there is any liquid left in this part, it can leak and cause a mess (it goes through the airtight valve).

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great cup. Leak proof. Will not seal with regular Eddie lids

These mugs are great. They are closed with the supplied cap when in use. The spout is universal, but the lid is not. It says it will work with other Eddie Camel cups, but it actually doesn't work at all. Regular Eddie Camelbak mugs leak everywhere. The seal on the travel mug seals tighter than regular Eddie Camelbak water bottles. They are closed with the supplied cap when in use. The only reason to lower the star rating for impermeability is because it's advertised as being compatible with…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Great price

We've used the plastic version of this water bottle successfully for years. I'm trying to reduce the use of plastic in general, especially what we use to eat and drink. I've ordered several stainless steel bottles at once and they're still our favorites and definitely the ones my kids use the most. Another advantage of stainless steel is that we can add a few ice cubes and it stays cool longer than plastic. I will probably buy more of these. They don't leak when closed if all the pieces are…

It mostly works.

What I like about this water bottle:- It keeps drinks cold indoors for hours and cold for at least a few hours in hot weather.- Easy to clean.- Dishwasher safe car.- My 18 month old son can drink from it without any problems - he also knows how to open and close it himself. What I don't like: - Lots of straws fall out. Because of this, my son cannot drink. Since the bottle is opaque I can't look inside to see if the straw is intact or not. So I keep checking to see if he's getting water out of…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • Definitely bad product

Much better than the plastic version!

We've been using the plastic version of this water bottle for a number of years and are happy with it apart from the fact that it's plastic. I wanted to switch to stainless steel. Noticing that one of our Camelbak plastic bottles had a plastic aftertaste, I went online to look for a stainless steel alternative. And I discovered that Camelbak has finally released a stainless steel baby bottle! The only difference I can tell is that the silicone valve is a bit harder to suck in water for some…

  • Great overall performance

Love it! The Best Stainless Steel Bottles Available

I'm a huge fan of CamelBak water bottles and have been waiting for the stainless steel version of their plastic bottles. Children love the spout, it is convenient to drink from it. They are very easy to care for, plus stainless steel. what you don't like! I've bought and tried basically every other stainless steel water bottle my kids have and this is by far the best. I tried several brands in my search for the right stainless steel bottle: stainless steel, but the spout is very difficult to…

The best insulated baby bottle. JE!

update below Wow! This vacuum flask is amazingly effective at keeping the contents cold! I filled the bottle with ice, added water and packed it in a diaper bag to go to the park on a hot day. After a few hours, I was pleasantly surprised to hear how much ice was still pattering around in the bottle. Fast forward 12 hours and there's still ice in the bottle! I was very shocked but really wanted to test it so I left the bottle overnight to see if the water would be cold in the morning. drum…
