I'm glad I bought them. I have very long hair and I like to keep it off my face, it works well for that. I had these when I was a teenager in my 80's and always remembered them helping me sweep my hair. The only complaint I have is that for 2 pieces of plastic they are pretty expensive these days in my opinion.

These combs looked good to me but when I tried them they didn't comb through my hair easily because they have rounded ends and NOT ends that go into the hair. Because of this, I had to move them back and forth to get them in my hair. The problem with this is that it loosens the curls and breaks/pulls the hair along the way.

My sister gave me a set when she and her husband were in the army in Germany, one broke (after much use), I could never find it again. I gifted a set to my sister, she will order her daughter. Lay them on their side (curved side down) and push them together, they appear to be held together and hold hair back better than a ponytail or braid.

Ideal for tidying up your hair without tying it with a rubber band. When you style your hair, it can be made into quite an elegant hairstyle for a wedding, etc. Reasonable price.

I remembered how convenient these brushes were in the 70's and was glad to find them again. Once my hair grows back a little I will have the prettiest hair I can remember from before, although it will now be gray instead of brown so I bought another long pair in gray.

They stay on my hair better than any I've bought from Revain. The rest is so smooth it slips out of my hair. I just wish they were in softer plastic in different colors. The softer the plastic, the easier they hold onto the hair. Many Thanks,

If you were like me and looking forward to finally finding it again, wait. It's close to what was used in the 80's-90's but smaller and too slick. Others were plastic and big so they slid together and lasted all day. I was lucky they stayed in my hair for an hour. or so. They have the correct notion that they care too much about looks and not how well it works.

They are very thick and it would be great if they were the same as the old ones with a little bow on the ends so they could be intertwined to keep them intact. Now they're too smooth to stay in my hair. I had a set for years and wore it forever until it finally broke. I've looked for her everywhere. There were very high hopes that they were as good as the last set, which was a fraction of the price. I will search further. However, I received it on time.
