HELP! Foot and Manicure

I first tried Camille in the 90's when a gift shop clerk noticed how dry my hands were. The new kitten will "catch" me with his hands like prey and grab me with his claws like crazy. It worked like a miracle. Now, after washing my hands frequently, I was pleased to find that it's still available - and in a variety of flavors! Still a great product.

Terrible Smell - Hand Creams and Lotions

I have been buying Oriental Spice products for over 20 years. I bought two lotions and a hand cream. Both are odorless and smell terrible. Unfortunately, I only found out after the return date. Either Camille Beckman changed the formula, or something happened to both products. I am very disappointed and will not buy it again.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent

Good but not the same! And the ingredients are not what they claim.

I've been waiting months to check this out in case my sense of smell was impaired or something. But no, it doesn't smell like it did years ago. I would say the smell is 25% stronger than before. I remember obsessing over how it smelled. If I saw it in the store I would open the jar if there was a sampler. I understand they made their ingredients healthier but to be honest the ingredients still aren't great. Dyes and preservatives etc. Not required. I would pay $5 for this product if it had a…

Not just a hand cream

First time in a gift shop while traveling addicted to it and can't find it anywhere at home. I was very happy to see you are here on Revain. Although marketed as "hand therapy," I use it as a body oil. Most other creams irritate my sensitive skin but not this one! It is not greasy and moisturizes well. Also, "Oriental Spice" is not as sweet as many other Camilla Beckman fragrances, it is subtle and exotic.

  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Smells like old cosmetics or old soap

I was expecting an "oriental spice" smell but nothing oriental or pungent. I'm assuming that this soapy scent is from sandalwood, but the smell is cheap sandalwood (if you love sandalwood and use a quality scent, you'll know what I mean). My grandma's old makeup probably smells richer and more complex than this one. I would be fine with this purchase if it was a good moisturizer but it is very average, CeraVe works better than this. If you are thinking of buying this fragrance, don't buy it. I…
