The enamel has peeled off!

Good kettle, well poured, boils water quickly and keeps water hot. The enamel around the spout started peeling off pretty quickly, I scraped off all of the peeling enamel that had gone almost 2 inches down the spout, we'll see how long the rest of the enamel lasts.

Pros
  • Kettle
Cons
  • Small change

For decoration, suitable for eating and serving utensils

Possibly caught defective or misused. The paint seems to be peeling everywhere. Most of the inner layer fell apart on first use. In my cup, but that's okay. I washed and cleaned the inside, trying to remove most of the scattered black fragments. But after a month I still find more shards. Now I use it for decorative purposes. I was really hoping to buy a kettle for the stove and burner.

Pros
  • for kitchen and dining room
Cons
  • will be added later

Suitable for brewing tea until it starts to crack inside.

I was very excited but when it arrived I was a little disappointed. It may be cast iron, but it's painted inside and out. According to the description it is enamelled, but it doesn't feel like it. I only expected better as it is one of the most expensive. This one came with the "enamel" already chipped inside and the pieces I pulled out are very soft. Time will tell if he survives the opening fire.

Pros
  • Home and Kitchen
Cons
  • Disappearance
