🔌 White Power Cord Hatch Access Door for RV Camper Trailer Motorhomes (1802MW) Review

I replaced the standard plug with shore power. The small round hole from the factory was not big enough for the new better connector. I bought this big hole in my van. used it seal it. Great for my new van shore power plug.

This is thin cheap hard plastic. It's listed as 'white', but it's a cross between polar and diamond white. On a van it even dazzles compared to the polar white add-on parts next to it. In addition, it is very shiny, so it is not suitable for painting without prior preparation.

Much better than the little round one that came with my RV. At the end, several knots formed on the electric cable. No longer! This hatch provides much better access should something go wrong in the box that stores the power cord. Looks good, easy to attach.

Gave four stars because there is no actual seal but some bolts on the screen door weatherstrip will fix that. And the installation would be easier if I didn't. I don't have to do any custom work to fit an existing hole in my old '75 ElDorado. Great product for the price. And don't forget to buy some butyl tape if you don't already have it! I guess I'll try to get another one for my plumbing access from the same seller.👍
