After the first two weeks of use, the inner lining on the fingertips was worn out. A glove, the sleeve feels tight and stands by itself. The other sleeve of the glove is flexible and appears to lack the reinforcement that the other glove has. The index finger of the flexible glove has two finger holes so I have to guess which finger hole to choose every time I put it on.

We love these gloves. They make it possible to put that "almost too big" piece of wood in the oven. They're also great for when you need to climb into the oven to scoop out the coals. You have a good three seconds before the heat kicks in and a full minute before that heat becomes uncomfortable. Possibly longer than your hands should be in a wood stove. 4 stars instead of 5 as they don't have a hanging loop that causes them to fall to the ground. or in a wooden box.
