The beast! installed on my 1969 Chevy C20.

Beast! installed on my 1969 Chevy C20, the sound of this hot rod was very intimidating to other drivers, gave the truck a lot of power, very impressed, still works

Pros
  • CL kits include camshaft, lifter kit, instructions and assembly lube.
Cons
  • Some Trouble

I love this camshaft!

Great cam Love the sound and the power. the recommended aperture converter for this setup is a bit conservative in my opinion. You must install a 2800 or larger torque converter to run this cam in a street car.

Pros
  • Operating range 2000-5800 rpm
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

good things: engines and engine parts

if you are looking for a camshaft that will make your engine sound worse than it actually is. This is for you. all the headaches of a big camera without a huge performance boost. This is exactly what I wanted, so I liked it. I drove a truck with this camera every day for a year and got about 8 mpg. Every time you start it, you forget about all the money you pay at the gas station

Pros
  • high performance street, standard converter is ok, best with 2000+ converter and gearbox. Misfires/knocking at idle.
Cons
  • Useless Features

Very happy with this camera.

Comp cameras work best. I have a very long history here. I'll try to be brief, but what I have to say might be helpful. I originally bought the Performer RPM package. I researched everything and few said the RPM cam was the best choice because it was matched to a head and intake dyno. I ran the rev cams and lifters and was very disappointed with the results. THEN I heard my rockers ticking like they were loose. After properly running the cam in cam lube and wearing out the high tine oil, the…

Pros
  • For Chevrolet GEN 1 Small Blocks including models 262, 265, 267, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350 and 400. Does not fit LT1/LT4 or 1985 and newer factory roller blocks.
Cons
  • Available in white only
