Cheap, flimsy design.

Very weak product. Even when fully tightened, the hand wobbles and just won't stay in place. It's no fun when you have a $1300 field monitor banging on a Ronin's top handle.

  • Sturdy construction

ok not great

I've had this adapter for a few months now, I've been using it on my Ronin and I'm not happy with the articulation. I fixed it and it still tends to move, not very happy with the strength of the ball not moving.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Some bugs

These mounts are garbage.

Not suitable for professional use. They are cheaply made and have no control over the stability of what is installed. I'd be a little more understanding if they were for something other than my Ronin, but I can't even mount them on a light stand.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Bad impression

At least I save the clamping part. 3/10

Lever never tightens properly. The small 1/4 thread insert doesn't leave much thread at all. I had an iPad mini at 180, not cool. If you "tighten" it you still have to worry about where your hand attaches to the clamp, that will also come loose. Overall 3/10.

Attention buyers! Don't buy this! Waste of even $1!

shit! It's so cheaply made that it can't even be tightened or glued to help it. I tried using it once and immediately the 5 inch screen it was holding to my Robin M started falling off! Tired of tweaking it multiple times, even tried other pros and no one could get it to stay in place! Don't buy this crap!

  • weight
Cons
  • big and bulky

Accessories need improvement

I ride a recumbent trike and the place I wanted to install it was on a vertical pole. This gadget performs the necessary configuration. The only complaint I have is the bolt that screws into the clamp mount, which loosens and rotates the camera out of position. This bolt must be constantly screwed into the clamp by the manufacturer using red Loctite.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

Bottom bearing rotates, found a better solution elsewhere

I used this to fit a 312 LED to my Ronin-M. Maybe I had a malfunction, but I just couldn't get it to spin in a mess. It seems that no matter how hard I tighten the single lever, it always turns on the bottom bearing. light less than 2 pounds. So I don't think it was an undue burden. Instead, I opted for a GyroVu cold shoe mount with a Manfrotto mini ball head. Thanks worked very well. Never moved at all. The only problem is that I can't put it in front of the monitor. Something I hoped would be
