I am very happy with the quality of the Canada Pooch jacket, but the chest measurement didn't fit, the jacket was too big.

This coat is excellent quality. The problem is the size. I have a 70# Lab/Shepherd mix and ordered a size 26 (largest of the suggested sizes) based on the size chart and it is too small. He doesn't have enough chest size to put his legs in. Don't use a table. Just measure your dog properly like I couldn't! Since the larger size is not available, you must look for something else.

I have had it for 2 years. My dog sees my winter coat open and is happy that it's time for her. We have so many people asking about this jacket. It has survived several washes and withstood every change in the weather. This was the best investment I have ever made for my pup! He even fought off a new mastiff puppy who pulled his wool 😣 the best company in the world!

My Yorkie used to shiver when he was scared or cold but he was actually happy to walk in this cold weather coat! Surprisingly warm. I wish I had bought this coat sooner because it really is warmer than all their other down jackets. It fits right over his seat belt and weighs 5 pounds (I went with the sizing recommendation). I would say that the jacket does not stretch. So if your dog has a big chest I would go up a size.

The biggest problem with this coat is that it doesn't fit my cockatoo. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the arm/sleeve holes are too far apart, forcing my dog into a bulldog pose. He can't even walk in a coat. Tried changing the fur to allow movement but not in the bone. It was an expensive mistake; No more ordering dog clothes online, that's one of those things they need to try on.

This jacket is made of the perfect material to keep my Minnie warm during the Colorado winter. I have a six year old Pitbull who weighs 65 pounds and finding the right coat for her was difficult as she has a thick neck but the 26W proved to be perfect for her. Personally, I'm a big fan of the notch on the back which allows the hook to be threaded through the pendant and avoids unnecessary skin contact. This coat exceeded all of my expectations.

Yes, it was more than I normally spend on dog clothes BUT it's clearly well made, maybe better than my coat to be honest. Absolutely adorable, keeps the beag nice and warm and has 99% of the neighbors stopping and walking AWWWW - which, let's be honest, is why you're looking at *that* specific dog coat and reading *that* specific review. Does she need fur trimmings? Most likely not. A back pocket that's just as useful as the front pockets on women's pants (spoiler alert - they're useless)…
