Description of 🕯️ 30 Set Natural Wood Candle Wicks for DIY Candle Making - Wood Wicks for Soy Wax, Aromatherapy, Smokeless, with Wax Chip Wick

The length of the wooden candle wick is very important. If it is too long, it will not absorb the wax at the bottom. If it is too short, the flame will be too small or unable to burn because the wax oil covers the wax wick. The remaining 1/4 inch length of the wax wick is perfect select. It’s best to ignite for no less than 10 seconds,Don’t remove the source of ignition as soon as the ignition is started. Candle wax memory refers to how a candle burns and the wax melts after it is lit for the first time. The first burn creates a wax pattern or “memory” for each subsequent burn. The first burn will determine how your candle will melt for the rest of its life. If you use the common industrial paraffin on the market,1piece of wood candle wicks+1 metal base can make the wood core fully burned. If you choose natural soybean wax or beeswax, please insert 2 pcs of wood candle wicks+1 metal base,so that they can be easily ignited. Usage method: Fix the candle wicks to the iron stand and put it on bottom of a container, 13x1.3cm (5.1 x 0.5inch) for each wick. You can trim the candle core to get the suitable length you need.

Mixed feelings

I like this concept. They are very easy to place and hold while you pour the wax. They don't produce smoke or that black soot on candles when they burn. The only thing that bothers me is that it starts to burn steadily, I have to relight it several times. After that, it burns like a charm.

Pros
  • It is best to ignite for at least 10 seconds, do not remove the ignition source immediately after switching on the ignition. Candle wax memory refers to how the candle burns and the wax melts after it is first lit. The first burn creates a wax pattern or "memory" for each subsequent burn. The first burn determines how your candle will melt for the rest of its life.

Save time and money.

These wicks did not burn as shown in the video. One was soaked in olive oil and the other in essential oil which I used like some of the other reviewers. The smaller plug (the last one in the photo) wasn't soaked with anything so I could test which one worked best. It turns out that this wick is just useless. Save time and money and avoid those wicks. Big disappointment.

Pros
  • If you choose natural soy wax or beeswax, insert 2 wooden candle wicks + 1 metal base for easy lighting.
Cons
  • No Instructions

It's hard to open, but it burns great!

I am new to candle making. These wicks burn great but the only issue I have is that they are difficult to assemble. I have to use a credit card to pry open the metal piece to put the wooden wick in because it's too tight. Although I know that once I insert that wick it's not going anywhere. I will definitely be buying more but it takes a little getting used to.

Pros
  • If you use commercial industrial wax, 1 piece wood candle wick + 1 metal base can completely burn the wood core.
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly
