My window candle from last year broke because I forgot to remove the batteries and wanted to replace them. It was everything I wanted. It was narrow so it fit on the windowsill without overhanging, it had a 'warm' light rather than a bright white LED, and it has a timer so I don't have to remember to turn it off. Satisfied.

I don't know what I expected for the price but they are so boring you can hardly see them from the street. They are also more orange than I would like. On the plus side, I like that they're battery operated, so you don't have to try to hide the cords. I used them for two Christmas seasons with only the batteries on (they work every day from 4:30am to 11:30am, from December 7th to January 4th).

Whilst attractive and the design allows them to be placed perfectly on the window sill they have a yellow light not white as described although bright enough for a battery candle . . The reason I am returning them and giving them 2 stars is that there is no stable function as advertised and listed on the packaging. The flicker drives us insane! Also, the batteries were NOT included as advertised. The bases are not brass but brass colored plastic but I expected that.

Great! Just insert batteries (included) and turn it on. The timer turns off automatically after 8 hours and turns on again 24 hours after the first start. Making decorative lighting is so easy! Candlelight is a little golden yellow, not white. The instructions on the packaging state that the batteries must be placed in the candle stem, but the batteries are placed in the base of the candle.
