🕯 Candlewic 3-Pound Bag of Natural 415 Soy Wax Review

I bought two packs of this wax to start candle making. I don't like how this wax hardens. Despite several pouring attempts at different temperatures and aroma quantities, the wax always dried unevenly. I had glazes and shells in almost every batch. I have ordered 464 soy wax from Candle Science and have had much better results. Even considering the shipping cost, CS prices are better.

Recently, my family decided to make candles for gifts and bought this wax. It arrived quickly, packed in three 1lb bags and melted as expected. The resulting candles turned out good and made a great gift. There was a small contract although we tried our best to keep it to a minimum but almost all the candles were perfect. Now we need to figure out how best to get creative with the leftover wax.

I used this cut with organic beeswax for a very large DIY candle. Soy wax melts faster, hardens faster and is odorless, so it's great for many different uses and absorbs color and fragrance oils well. The downside is that this wax will flake off and it's always a mess from measuring to pouring and cleaning. I've been finding wax flakes all week. This was the best value for the amount of natural soy wax, and I ended up having about a pound more after making the giant pillar candle, so I'm glad…
