They're not as blue as Revain. And I can't explain the difference. It's like it lacks an iridescent quality or something, but it's close to blue, but not exactly. I kept them because they still go well with other shades of blue in my kitchen. If you have trouble opening lids, don't buy them as they have a good seal that will keep your food fresh. I wanted to use these tins for flour, white sugar and brown sugar. They are much smaller than expected and only hold half of the standard packaging of each of these items. I cut my hand on the inside while washing. There are sharp metal joints and edges along the edges of the window. Also, after hand washing, the seals aren't as good as straight out of the box. On the other hand, they look really beautiful. So I'm considering keeping them as decorative items rather than the functional canisters

We ordered two sets because of the aesthetics, they looked very nice and what we liked were the viewing windows and anti-fingerprint features.
