I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Despite my preference for the Zeiss 100/2 macro, which is an order of magnitude more expensive and lacks AF, I am really pleased with this lens. It takes stunning portraits and focuses quickly and precisely. Even though you won't be able to focus on the fly's eye (there's an MP-E65 for that), it allows you to take fully functional images at 1/25 (if it's not macro), and I've never looked back.

Pros
  • 2.8 is a great working hole since it is quick, accurate, and cheap.
Cons
  • Putting on the lid is unrealistic with the native lens hood attached, and the weight prevents the polarizer from being twisted. During auto-refocus, it occasionally emits ominous noises that make it sound like it's about to be hidden. It could be hard to focus in a totally black room.

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Because of its versatility, I used it with my crop-sensor EOS 60D: When you look at the sample shot, you see that it has crisp details, vibrant colors, and a shutter speed of 1/20 of a second (!) when shot handed. (For instance, the 50mm f/1.4 at 1/80 frequently blurs.) Typically, f/2.8 Snapshots for the test: fotki.

Pros
  • Excellent color reproduction and contrast; Highly handy stabilizer; Razor-sharp at F/2.8 (!); - No XA detected at F/2.8; There is nothing to criticize about the construction; everything is tidy and easy to understand. Beautiful bokeh (circles, not nuts); Excellent macro (I'm impressed); Three distance switches (convenient, and the lens focuses rapidly); Heavy hood: on the one hand, a protective cover cannot be placed over the lens without first removing the hood; on the other hand, the lens is well protected from splashes, dust, and so like. The appropriateness of the cost.
Cons
  • This lens has a very small depth of field when set at f/2.8 due to its construction.

Initially, I took this lens for dental photography (photo-registration of teeth during dental treatment), http://fotki. http://fotki. http://fotki. http://fotki. Macro: http://fotki. http://fotki. http://fotki. http://fotki.

Pros
  • - USM motor autofocus speed - fractions of a second! (when shooting through the optical viewfinder) - The image stabilizer allows you to take sharp pictures even for 1/8 second, - Impressive view.
Cons
  • I’ it was alarming, but as it turned out, when focusing through the LCD, However, the nature of the lens.

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

In principle, everyone has already said about it :-) And the fact that it is very sharp, On the other hand, it' In this case, a 180 The sharpness and detail is amazing! http://img-fotki. When you see every hair, http://img-fotki. Excellent drawing and bokeh http://img-fotki. DOF is certainly small http://img-fotki. But those who know what the diaphragm is for, I think they will bypass this drawback) In general, it is better not to find!

Pros
  • Very sharp even at 2.8, position focus limiter
