Great product, a pleasure to use.

Ideal for photography for landscapes and architecture. There are few statements. It is also very good for video shooting, as it is light and with a stub. If you turn on the stabilization of the lens itself and the in-camera stabilization, the picture is very smooth and even.

Pros
  • The weight! On the camera, it is simply weightless, the hand does not get tired with it at all. The stabilizer helps to shoot at a slower shutter speed, not 4 steps of course, but 2.5-3 is quite for itself. Considering that this is a wide angle, and it is mainly used for architecture and landscapes, it is better to tighten the aperture, and if it is a little in the evening, then it comes in handy. Sharp, well, straight sharp, at f / 4 it already rings, at open it is very good.
Cons
  • For such a price there are none, I would like a larger aperture, but miracles do not happen, this is immediately a different price and a different weight

Satisfactory product quality, good price.

Some pros: light. compact. cheap blends (from 600). the cheapest shirik with a stub Its cons: 24mm is very specific. perfect for the landscape. in a room with people is already difficult

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

The perfect setting for taking photographs of landscapes and buildings. There aren't many statements in all. Because it is lightweight and comes with a stub, it is also highly useful for taking video. When both the image stabilization that is built into the camera and the stabilization that is built into the lens itself are turned on, the resulting image is exceptionally smooth and even.

Pros
  • How much it weighs! The camera itself is so light that holding it for any length of time does not cause the user's hand to weary. The stabilizer makes it possible to take photos with a slower shutter speedβ€”not by four steps, of course, but by at least two to three, which is already quite plenty. In light of the fact that this is a wide-angle lens and since the majority of the time it is used for photographing landscapes and buildings, it is preferable to restrict the aperture, and if it is at all possible to use it in the evening, doing so is highly recommended. Sharp, well, straight sharp, it already rings at f/4, and at open it is very good. Sharp, well, straight sharp.
Cons
  • I would like a larger aperture, but I understand that miracles do not happen, and this is immediately a different price as well as a different weight. There are none available for such a price.

I needed a lens for a crop "for every day", compact, lightweight, so that you can always carry it with you, especially when traveling. At first I bought a 24mm STM, I was very disappointed, as they already wrote here with it "the soapy scene is coming out. soapy, cheap, whale", I sold it without regret. Then I took this one, a little expensive of course, but I am completely satisfied and almost never take it off the carcass. All successful shots!

Pros
  • The picture is beautiful, voluminous as a good lens should have. Sharp on the open. The stabilizer allows you to take photos at dusk with your hands and video without tremor. Fast and quiet autofocus. Manufacturing quality. Nice movement of the manual focus ring. Light weight, compact dimensions, 58 mm filter thread.
Cons
  • With the current exchange rate, the price is somewhat inadequate. Aperture wanted at least 2.0.

Wow, what an incredible lens

I was looking at reviews of this lens when it first came out. But I couldn't figure out why I would need it or how I would use it. So I forgot. Time passed and during that time I sold my 24-70mm f/2.8L lens to finance something else because I rarely used it. I only used it when I needed to film a group somewhere other than outside in the sun. I figured my 24-105mm f/4L would do. I was wrong. The other day I had an outdoor group shoot early in the morning. No problem, right? Just use f/4. Then…

Pros
  • Lenses for SLR cameras
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Excellent on Micro 4 3 with Kipon Auto Focus Adapter

Bought used in 'like new' condition. I use it on a Panasonic GX85 Micro 4 3 camera body via a Kipon autofocus adapter that allows Canon EF lenses to be used. The adapter supports full EXIF data. This lens focuses quickly and accurately with an adapter. I also have a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 ART lens which I also adapt to MFT with a Kipon adapter and the Canon lens focuses much faster than the Sigma which is a bit slow and sometimes has trouble in low light. Canon focuses well (even better than my…

Great fixed focal length for Canon APS-C cameras

I currently have a 70D and have no need to upgrade because I mostly take photos with it, shoot in RAW and the 20 MPCMOS sensor is enough for me. I have a 17-55 f/2.8 zoom and love the sharpness, f/2.8 speed and IS, but hate the sheer size compared to the small Rebel camera. I needed a small, fast mid-range APS-C prime lens. I tried the 28mm f/1.8 lens but was disappointed. It was too soft, didn't sharpen to f/4. It wasn't worth taking the Prime everywhere with you for how small it is. Canon…
