High exit price.

Beautiful little flash that can be rotated to reflect. Also has an auto fire option if he thinks so for those who are less tech savvy. The flash is still better than the built in flash. I also wish they had a flash diffuser option.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slim

Amazing top flash from Canon

As a photographer I switched to Canon products and am satisfied with this top flash for my Rebel EOS t6 digital SLR camera. It is light and compact, easy to assemble, lock and then disassemble. Simple switch and dial for settings. Flash flexibility. Accessible.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Negative included

Good brightness for photos

This flash makes my photos look great. I just want everyone to know that it needs batteries, although I figured I could just plug it in and turn the battery off. The camera supplies electricity, no it doesn't. It has its own on/off switch, separate from the camera, and requires batteries. I love it though

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Very powerful and handy little flash

Ideal for quick family gatherings, this flash is easy to carry. Now I carry it in my camera bag and use it as a fill flash. While I have no plans to replace my Speedlite 600EX with a higher guide number, I think it's a versatile flash. You can even rotate and tilt the device to bounce the flash off the ceiling or wall. According to the manual, simulation is not supported for EOS R and M cameras.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some little things

Great flash for mirrorless!

I bought this flash to use with my EOS M50 camera. I've used the 600EX RT on my full frame DSLRs but compared to the M50 it's huge! I needed a flash for events and family gatherings with full articulation for flash deflection and this new EL-100 is just perfect for the job! It's powerful enough to bounce enough indoors and brighten outdoors. Very compact, very easy to use and integrates perfectly with my M50. Love it!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great flash small and light but not rechargeable

This flash is a good size. I needed the smallest flash available to do mostly fill flashes so I got this one. It works very well when it has new batteries in it, but when they start to run down a bit there are a few seconds between shots, which is disappointing. I would have preferred a rechargeable flash and I could just know it's charged before I start, so now I have to carry batteries and be ready to pop in new ones when things get slow. Another very nice flash.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • I will add later
