Canon Cameras 1157C001 Controller Adapter Review

I bought this to use the Canon TC-80N3 timer remote on my new EOS R camera body. However, such an accessory should not cost more than $15, not $45. This is price gouging.

Canon has changed the connection sockets and charges more for adapters than the original product, which now requires an adapter. But you get a few inches more range because the adapter adds a few inches to the length of the cable. !

It does what it says on the tin at a price above what I thought was fair. This adapter plug allows me to continue using my old Canon wired/wired remote shutter release on my new camera.
