Description of 🖨️ Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000: Professional Photographic Inkjet Printer (17 x 22-Inches) - Ultimate Precision and Performance

Anti-Clogging Technology: The Fine print head institutes a tubular ink delivery system, this generates faster print speeds and reduces the possibility of clogging. Air Feeding System: The Canon Air Feeding System prevents each page from skewing for accurate ink placement, regardless of paper type. A series of openings located on top of the platen vacuum-grip the paper as it feeds through the printer. Lucia Pro Ink System: The Lucia Pro 11-color plus Chroma Optimizer ink system satisfies the demands of the most critical photographer or graphic artist. Denser droplet placement provides a broader color gamut for superb glossiness/anti-bronzing. Wide Color Gamut: This 11-color and Chroma Optimizer ink system helps to achieve an improvement in color-reproduction, image clarity, and enhanced darker areas. It faithfully reproduces colors and dark areas crucial for printing works of art. Black Density and Dark Shadow Areas: Deep blacks, which make the image crisp, and precise gradation can be attained across all media types. 17" x 22" Bordered Photo.

Professional printing ideal for small businesses

This printer is phenomenal! After many hours of research and discussion between the Epson 800 and the Canon Pro 1000, I settled on the Canon Pro 1000. I'm so happy I did this. Setup was easy and my prints have never looked better. The paper aligns easily with no user error. The quality of this printer is professional and the prints look better than in the store.

So far, so good! Best Printers and Supplies

I was thinking of the Epson P-800 but ended up buying the Canon Pro-1000 mainly because too many people were complaining about Epson's paper jam problems. And the interchangeable head in the Canon sounded appealing. The construction took about an hour. No problems, no incidents, everything went smoothly. Set up everything for wireless printing. I mainly print with watercolors on matte card stock. The first print turned out great. So far I am very happy with this purchase. Let's keep our fingers

LOVE LOVE LOVE this printer

I've had it for over a month now and the fact that I can just go to my computer and print from home is AMAZING! I love the quality of the prints, people ask where I printed my photos and can't believe it when I tell them I printed them at home. My only wish is for it to be slightly wider to make it 20 inches wide x any length (in other words, to have a roll handler on it so I can print longer prints like panoramas). But overall the color is absolutely wonderful, deep and rich. The ease of use…

Great Prints is a terrible printing app.

These prints are unmatched among printers at this price point. Terrific. However, Print Studio Pro. it comes with, terrible. If you don't mind your printouts being printed off-center no matter what settings you use. Endless warning windows appear telling you that everything you are doing is wrong. (By the way, I've been doing graphics for decades, I have much bigger printers and I've never had problems like this with them.) How can these app developers make such a simple operation so…

Unbelievable - matches my screen image exactly

My day job is the CEO of a podcast company. But my hobby is photography and no accessory has brought me more joy than this incredible printer. The printers are very high quality for home use, but I decided to treat myself to a purchase to print decades-old travel photos (remember those?) and nature photos to spice up my new home office (everyone works remotely). currently). I have an image of a poppy taken three years ago at the Lancaster, California Poppy Sanctuary that I have posted here and…

An improvement over my Epson R2000

I bought this printer because my Epson R2000 was completely dead. He was on his last legs for over a year, not feeding paper and eventually putting ink on paper until it finally died over Black Friday weekend. I had my Epson in this box from Ikea which included paper perfect for my printer but I was concerned this larger model might not support or match this printer. It's the perfect combination! IKEA ALEX Drawer on Wheels White Width: 26 3/8" Depth: 18 7/8" Height: 26" Canon prints with…

Great printer great customer support

That was a great printer. I have owned many different large format photo printers over the years, mainly Epson, Canon and HP. It is by far the best in terms of print quality and ink efficiency. I've printed quite a bit with 17x22, 13x19 and 8x10 and so far the ink levels are over 70% of the mile and I've been amazed at how many prints I can get from one set of cartridges. The initial charge when you first set up the printer will empty quite a bit of ink which will fill the printer's tubes, but…

  • Can I add something

I've been using the new Pro-1000 for a week now and so far I love it, it's by far the best print quality either from a private photo printer or from my local photo lab. Pros: - The printer itself is well designed, with a slim build and sleek finish - Printing on the printer is superb on all media I've tried (glossy, fancy, matte). Papers from Canon and others) and the software plugin for Lightroom is very easy to use. I get much better print quality (more accurate color, detail, contrast) with…

Excellent prints and reliable printing

Since there is so much confusion here I should start the review with that. When you first set up this printer and install ink cartridges before you print anything, all of your ink levels will only be about 50%. It is in order! It's not because there's anything wrong with the printer, or because Canon made it cheaper and included cartridges that were only half full (as far as I know). Each ink cartridge is connected to the printhead by a long flexible tube. You can see them all by opening the…
