Let me start by saying that I lost my lens cap during the Halloween party at Disneyland. This is a great cap, thicker than the original cap that came with my lens. It gives me extra protection for my lens but also looks good on it. I would recommend this to anyone who has lost their cap or just wants extra protection for their lens. This is a great replacement lens cap. I prefer the compression in the center over the outer edge, it's just easier for me because I usually keep the lens hood on my camera.
