WORKED WELL FOR A TIME, THEN STOP PRINTING. IT WILL GO THROUGH THE MOTION BUT NOTHING ON THE SIDE, I HAVE REMOVED THE PRINT HEAD AND CLEANED THOROUGHLY WITH ALCOHOL. IT WAS VERY DIRTY. I RESET IT AND THE CARTRIDGES AND NOW I GET A PRINT ERROR THAT THE PRINT HEAD IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE. Heck, I just pulled it out of the printer. I SEE MANY PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, THANKS ROBERT D. SMITH.

The simplest printer I've ever bought. So bare bones, it didn't even have an output tray. Printed the most perfect color I've ever seen. It is a pity that there was no model with a wide stroller.

This product worked reasonably well initially, but I was not at all impressed with its true color capability when printing anything other than text. Things only got worse after a few months when I started noticing heavy ink stains or smudges on all printed documents. Now it seems possessed and only works properly after about 10 tries. Due to the crappy quality of this printer I will be buying a new one soon and it certainly won't be this model!

It has to be the best printer in its price range. Prints fast and with high quality. I used to have a Lexmark z23 printer. Which was good for printing articles for school or even low res photos here and there. But when it's time to refill ink, it's better to buy another printer, which I did. The Canon iP1500 cost me less than a set of black and color refills for an outdated printer. Don't let the low price of this printer fool you into thinking that it doesn't live up to the mark in any way. I…

I got this as a cheap backup for my old printer. I am very happy with this Canon. Assembly was very easy out of the box. It prints well, a bit noisy, but not bad. The ink cartridges for this printer are inexpensive and easy to find. I gave it four stars as it doesn't have a tray for your printouts and instead dumps them on the floor. All in all a very good printer.

This is the best printer for us. We use the XP desktop to set up the printer and once shared on our network we can print wirelessly. And the ink I can buy for him is cheap! This is about my 5th! Repackaged, delivered quickly!

The ink is very cheap. I was surprised at how many pages it can print before the ink tanks need replacing. My kids just type and type. Compact size for a small table. The photo quality is also excellent. I used it instead of my Epson just because the Epson ink is over $30 a tank. Note that it doesn't have a paper tray and is noisy and slow. Buy without hesitation.

It arrived with black ink and after replacing the cartridges it didn't install but kept saying the cartridge was installed incorrectly and when I checked everything was fine. I donate to charity so someone else will try to get to work.

I still have this printer 6 years later. I refill my ink tank and only use the black one. After 5 years I had to disassemble and clean the ink absorber inside the printer and use a program to reset the internal counter to keep it printing for so long. Most people shouldn't do this for a cheap printer, but I like the challenge (had to carry it quite a distance) and I like this little simple printer.
