Transfer images at your convenience using FTP transfer, EOS Utility, WFT Server or Canon Camera Connect app. Specially designed for use with the new EOS-1D X Mark II camera, with an improved UI, organized settings and a more simple display configuration. Wireless time syncing can sort images captured by multiple cameras and determine the accurate shooting sequence.

Expensive remote release

The Canon software that you have to use leaves a lot to be desired. I wanted to use it to give a larger preview of my photos as I take them, rather than trying to see if everything is sharp on the tiny screen on the back of the camera. The problem is that you cannot use the camera's viewfinder while using it. You have to shoot in "live mode" and I don't prefer to shoot. It looks like it should only be used as a glorified remote shutter release. If you use it for that, it's quite expensive for…

When I first got this I was able to get it working with hotspots but couldn't connect my android phone directly to the connect camera. (iPhone may be different - I don't know). It works great once you get it working. see below what I had to do. If you try to connect your phone directly to the camera (no hotspot) you may encounter the same problem as me. To explain.
