I love this paper but was hesitant to buy it because of all the negative reviews. BUT I think I know what the problem is: using the wrong side of the paper. I've attached two photos, one from the front (the one facing you when you open the cover) and one from the back. I used the same alcohol markers (Uhuhu Art Marker 46, 59 and 56) and the exact same blending technique (just a simple layering) and as you can see I got completely different results. I would say this is a great value. 100 sheets in a notebook. I usually work on a smaller scale so I cut the paper which gives me even more value from this notebook. It's thin paper, but it's the kind of paper I prefer for markers. Because the paper is thin, you must be careful not to crumple the paper when erasing. It is translucent so you can easily trace your drawing if you prefer to draw in your sketchbook or other paper. It holds multiple layers of alcohol ink well. It's visible on the back
