For use with handlebars up to 32 inches wide. New design features glass filled injection molded polycarbonate cups with steel lay-in that replaces the old handlebar cuff and new webbing using heavier threads with more stitches for greater strength. Cups eliminate possible damage to soft grips and hold the cross straps further out on the bars to clear a wider variety of fairings and prevent damage to switch housings. Cups are sized to fit the fattest grips in the industry. Steel D-ring lay-ins provide extra security to prevent losses even after many years of weather and abuse begin to weaken the polycarbonate cup.

Why didn't I get them sooner!

I have a Piaggio MP3 (look it up if you don't know). We regularly take it on camping trips in the toy truck and they have a hard time linking their design effectively. The canyon dancer saved me from fear that my bike would tip over upon arrival in time. We recently bought my wife a scooter and I bought a second one. These things save time and nerves when transporting bicycles.

    • Questionable purchase for the elderly

    Works great for parts

This was my first time hooking up my bike so I was really nervous but this setup worked great. The front suspension sagged just 1 inch and the bike was very solid the whole way. I bought a second set of zip ties after taking these photos in case one breaks (recommend 2 on each side to be on the safe side). For $1 this setup worked great I put 2 socks on the grips as others have recommended to prevent damage to the grips and everything worked fine.

Excellent quality. You set up a motorcycle or a large one.

Excellent quality. It is very easy to secure a motorcycle or large scooter with it. Any bike that can be walked around and attached to the handlebars would be a good candidate for them. But not for my BMW. I have to secure the bike at the bottom of the forks. Check the manufacturer's manual to make sure they work for you. If so, they are very nicely made and connect very quickly. One caveat: my friend used a similar product on his aftermarket bike with adjustable handlebars. These handlebars…

    cool product! very well done.

I waited hours for a tow truck and when it arrived it wasn't ready to tow a sports bike! When I saw him attach car tow straps to a gas tank with metal D-rings on the tank, I knew I was in trouble. I suggested going through the bottom fork clamp but they would still have to grab the sides of the truck and that would rip off the side panels. When he offered to buckle up to my front wheel/rim I figured I'd leave while I was in front. 8 hours later a guy came in who knew what he was doing and had…

Real Story - I got my Canyon Dancer for .

True story - I used my Canyon Dancer for the first time last weekend. I towed my 150cc scooter on a dual motorcycle rack mounted on the back of my RV. On my way home from a weekend trip to Disney, I had to make a HARD turn to avoid being hit from behind by someone cutting me off. As I did so, I cut the curb with my trailer tire. My van rolled left to right a bit and then bounced off really hard. All of this movement caused my shock absorbers to compress on the scooter. The front tire went off…

Very easy to use and won't damage the grips

Recommended by the motorcycle dealer but not stocked. I ordered them less than 48 hours before receiving my Ducati 959 Panigale and they arrived on time. They are very good for two reasons. They don't look like the old soft zip ties that can damage rubber buttons or controls. They protected my grips and throttle by attaching to the ends of a metal rod. Second, thanks to the attachment points, my straps didn't touch the body. The bike was transported in the bed of a Tundra pickup with just this…

    They almost dropped my bike.

I bought these to transport my 2004 Yamaha R6 in the back of a van. I used to use ratchet straps alone, wrapping a loop around each side of the handlebars and then attaching them to hooks in the truck. It was effective but very painful and also resulted in the strap rubbing against the edge of my fairing and risking damaging it. When I heard about Canyon Dancers I decided to give them a try. I used them once to take my bike to a mechanic and they almost dropped my bike in the back of a truck. I

Stop tearing the handles on the steering wheel!

I took my sport bike to the track a couple of times, loaded it into my truck and strapped it to the handlebars. Every time I got out onto the track, the handlebar attachment point caused the grips to partially slip or deform. I needed a new way to tie my bike and I settled on this one. The Canyon Dancer II has cups that fit over the ends of the handlebars. Once attached with zips, the CD II holds up very well. I took my bike with them to another track and this time I didn't have to waste time…
