Top too tight

My daughter is 1-2. Bought size 2. They are very tight, especially at the top. She wore them a few times and I thought she wasn't used to the different style of the show but even the trainer said there was something wrong with the shoes. My daughter also has slim legs.

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Buy this jazz shoe for your child

Excellent jazz shoes. If you buy your child a correct size shoe, it may be difficult for him to put the shoe on top, so buy 1/2 size larger. My daughter wears the second pair as the foot does not wear out with growth. We wrote her name on the heel with a silver marker so she could always find them in a pile during dance class.

Pros
  • Dance
Cons
  • High price

Order 2 sizes bigger!

So, as most of the reviewers have said, they're pretty small. My daughter wears street shoes in 11. I ordered 13 wide and they fit great. So TWO sizes bigger! They require some effort to get them. Just place your foot on the toe and then on the heel. At first they didn't seem to fit, but once put on they fitted perfectly. I'm wide because her feet are wider. But if your child has narrow feet, regular sneakers two sizes larger than street size will do. Liked the canvas, it's much more flexible.
