Capezio Leather Pirouette II Dance Shoe: Enhance your Performance with Style Review

Bought these for my daughter's text contest in a very small contest. They arrived very quickly which was fantastic. My daughter wears 1.5-2" shoes (she is 9 years old) and is a very small block size. Although I know Capezio runs small, I still ordered a very small shoe for her. After two socks she almost pierced them.The shoes shown in the photo dance less than an hour and I hope a pair of two hours will last longer.

We have bought these shoes several times but no pair are as worn. After my daughter used them for the first time, they started to fade. Not at all happy about it. She had her last pair for a year before she burst a hole in her sock, but it never faded like it does now. Very disappointing. I bought these shoes specifically for my daughter's national dance competition and she ended up borrowing the shoes from another dancer because they looked so bad. A complete waste of money.

My daughter uses them to dance and she loves them but order one size up! She usually wears size 7 shoes so we bought her "6-7.5 shoes" and they were WAY small. Order a size larger and you'll be fine! The quality is great and the straps that go around the ankle have a little sticky strip to keep them in place. When you warm up and start sweating and the elastic stretches, this is a handy little addition that I never would have looked for! From now on we will only order this brand! I love her!

Everything was great until I looked down after half an hour of use. The skin on the tip of the big toe had flaked off and obviously had to turn into a hole. I turned the boot over and saw that the leather was too thin in some places. The suede was torn too close to the top grain and all I had was a top grain here and there. My daughter has been wearing Capezio Pirouettes for many years. currently. And now she only wears one, on a rotating leg. Now she wears women's shoes in size 5-5.5 and since girls wear size 4, she prefers Lg. She has a little wide foot. However, I am a woman of 8.5-9 and can wear a size M.
