Lower quality than before

I've been buying Capezio apartments for over 50 years. It's not the quality I've gotten in the past but they are functional. Felt too tight, I hope they stretch a little.

Pros
  • Beautifully designed and styled for a classic and elegant look
Cons
  • May not have a good grip on slippery surfaces

Nice apartments in my opinion

These are comfortable apartments, beautifully done. I took the advice of sizing from street size, but my ballet shoes are about half an inch too big.

Pros
  • precisely
Cons
  • I may have a defective pair of shoes. One shoe felt good but the other felt good like it was very noticeable.

Don't forget to resize!

I love ballerinas - I love wearing them around the house. I forgot to order when I received them. Also, I wish they had suede overlays on the soles of the shoes. They're a bit short so I'll find someone to give them away and look for a size 11. (I usually wear women's size 10 US).

Pros
  • Available in a variety of sizes to suit all foot sizes and shapes.
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor use, can easily get dirty or damaged.

Nice shoes, run small

My daughter usually wears a size 3, which we ordered. When they arrived, however, they were very small. I understand that ballet flats should fit snugly, but in our case that's not a problem. They were too small to walk in. We ordered a size 4 and are curious how they fit. I recommend ordering at least 1 size larger than your child's usual shoe size.

Pros
  • Fits me just right. Very good fabric!
Cons
  • Not suitable for intensive dance classes.

Good shoes but sizing is difficult

These shoes are great for my daughter but I had to work hard to get the right size. Ours were wide - she needed a narrow one when she was a quad in her Bloch boots. Also look for information on size chart conversions. My kids size 3 (street shoes) is in a narrow fifth.

Pros
  • Use for walking when connected to the ground. Feels good!
Cons
  • Shoes can have a strong chemical smell

Too small in the toe area and doesn't fit well at the girth.

They were too tight at the top and too small and roomy in the middle and the friend who noticed thought so, and she didn't know anything about ballet flats. Very disappointed

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain for long-term use
Cons
  • The laces can be easily untied while dancing.

Pretty good apartments and this is Capezio

, I started adult ballet (exercises) and needed ballerinas. I have never ordered shoes online because it is difficult for me to find the right size. I continued because I needed them immediately and the price was right. They arrived right on time. I ordered a medium 8.5 (using some of the reviewer's comments). My street shoes are usually medium to wide in the heel and very narrow in the heel and are typically an 8.5 for US made shoes but can range from 7.5 to 8.5 for other models. These Capezio

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Nice shoes though.

Good quality shoes. The fit was a bit tricky. I wear 8 or sometimes 8.5 M in street shoes depending on the shoe (8.5 is always wide) so I ordered 8.5. Too tight to wear and not sure if they were long enough or not as they were meant to be quite snug on the leg. I know they stretch a bit and conform to the foot but they say not to keep them on unless they are really uncomfortable which they were. I really didn't know if I should just upgrade to the 9M or actually buy the Wide (which I never do…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Thick durable leather but unusual size for boys

I bought a pair of black flats for my young son. First, these shoes are pretty well made, with strong stitching and detailing. The black leather of the shoe and the suede sole are made of nice thick leather. However, the pair my son received had a pea-sized smudge of yellow glue on the inner white lining. So I had to deduct a star for poor workmanship. My son wears 4.5 inch ballet flats so I bought him a size 5. Although the length was just right with little toe room he struggled trying on a…
