🔑 Ford Lincoln Mercury Mustang Key Fob Remote - Set of 2 (GQ43VT4T, 3165189, F5DZ-15K601-B) Review

Works great with the included instructions/video link for my '97 Ford F150. Twist five times to run, press release button, and it's programmed. Works great, looks just like my original key fob.

doesn't work, can't find the "wires" to put the clip in. no support no photos, the keychain keeps opening and the battery dies. an absolute waste of $15.

The first sensor I bought failed in less than two months. I bought another one and like the first one I had to glue it together to keep it from falling apart. Not brilliant quality but good enough to buy now.

I followed the instructions to pair this fob with my F150 (ignition on/off 5 times). Once you hear the door lock cycle you should press the button on the key fob and you should see the door lock cycle. Nothing has happened. I disassembled the key fob and bent the contacts a bit to make better contact with the battery. Tried again and it helped. One star deduction for that.

When I received it I couldn't program it according to the online instructions. After checking out and processing the return, I read several customer reviews and noticed that many of them say they received it with dead batteries. After replacing both batteries and reassembling the buttons, the programming worked. Bought this controller in late 2020; put it in a drawer and forgot about it until last week when I locked the remote/key in the truck. After opening it up and taking out the keys, I went into the drawer with my new controller, opened the FOB to check the batteries) and found that the power connectors weren't soldered to the controller board (they're there, but they're floating free). , apparently this passed the quality control .
