Bought inverter in May and burned out in November.

I paid $53 for this inverter. I only used it for about 2 months, after hooking it up. I started to smell something getting hot. After about a week of the smell the unit quit working. I only used it to run my marine refrigerator on my boat when I wasn't plug into shore power. NOW I DON'T HAVE A RETURN PERIOD!

Does not work for power tools, junk, check out the weight of the inverter!

It has no capacitance. It works for LED lighting that has no additional load at start up but does not work for power tools that require starting capacitance. Seller will not take it back and wants me to go through Revain, Not worth messing with plus it has been 45 days. I am going to throw it in the recycle bin and cut back my purchases on Revain. I will repost this review monthly.

Not 1200W, not even 770W

Main problem I have with it is that it isn't anywhere close to the wattage it claims. It is attractive and was reasonably priced. But I bought it to supply at least 1000W and it wasn't able to do that.

It's not working properlly

It should be restarted every 15 minutes to work, then after another 15 minutes I have to restart it one more time to work That's my review!

Does what it needs to. Power up.

No remote, and fan stays on. Other than that. I holds it's own in supplying power to Xbox 1 and monitor. I was skeptical at first. Fan was not connected at all upon receiving but I didn't have time to send back so I opened it to attach.

busted in the first 3 minutes

I tried to run my freezer off of this, which is supposed to be 1 kW. It didn't work. I then tried to use the jumper cables - but got the red and black confused. Instant spark and dead. No idiot protection. Which usually you want for a consumer level device. So I can't recommend it to anyone.

Got it to upgrade my 300w but works about the same. Screen is a bonus. Smaller them it looks in picure so its easy to store. Thanks for attention!

Great for road travel or camping!

Works best on the battery since 12v sockets are not meant for 1200w, but love this inverter. (Keep an extra 20a fuse in the glove box just in case.)

  • Nothing. The positive cable broke off and had to repair it. Also doesn't charge my laptop.
