Hole Saws cuts quick precise holes in stainless steel, mild steel, iron, copper and brass sheet up to 3/16-Inch (5 mm) thick. Split point pilot drill bit prevents bit walking. Set contains: 7/8-Inch, 1-1/8-Inch, 1-3/8-Inch plus one extra pilot bit. Integrated flange prevents the operator from drilling beyond the sheet metal. Conduit and pipe sizes: 1/2-Inch (13 mm) to 1-Inch (25 mm).

Cuts through stainless steel countertops

Cuts through stainless steel countertops. Just make sure your drill bit is in torque (slow) and work slowly. Take breaks when the stainless steel is thick or doesn't cut well. The colder the bits stay, the longer they last. I also sometimes use cutting oil only after my hole is dry otherwise everything can slip off and you miss the target.

ideal if you are on a budget but not the best.

Cuts well but not tested on stainless steel. a little worried. I had two days use on regular gutter boxes, drilled about 20 holes and had no problem with cutting. However, if you don't stay perfectly straight while drilling, the drill will already break twice. But with practice I seem to have mastered everything I would recommend if you are on a tight budget.

Perfect design, neat workmanship.

Good set of hole saws. The case has a very sturdy feel and comfortably accommodates all three sizes of bits with an additional slot for a spare guide bit. The crowns themselves are brilliantly designed. Love love love the ejection spring built into the pilot's crown. This allows me to drill from one hole to the next instantly without wasting a second. They also have a built in stop or flange to prevent accidental over drilling. Klein seems to have thought of everything when it came to the…
