First impression of pressure and vacuum

Although I haven't used it yet, it looks well built. I don't know how accurate it is either, but I have no reason to doubt it, time will tell. It came with no stains and as described.

Pros
  • Pressure and vacuum
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Gauge Leaks are best for Pressure Gauges and Vacuum Gauges

Gauge Leaks Slowly. It's internal, so there's no solution. I spent hours looking for leaks in a gas line. I removed the pressure gauge from the fitting and installed a borrowed one for testing. NO leaks, that narrowed it down. I would have sent it back but after wasting so much time ended up in a premature accident! I felt better.

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Large and Bulky

The CARBO gas tester worked well

The first thing I did before using the tester was to make sure the meter itself could hold air pressure for 24 hours. I fitted one end with a 1" to 3/4" adapter and installed a 3/4" male into the adapter. I then added 15 pounds of air pressure. The pressure gauge showed good results and passed the test. I would recommend this one Recommend pressure gauges to anyone who needs a reliable tester for finding leaks in gas lines or for any project that requires a 15 pound tester.

Pros
  • Test, measure and inspect
Cons
  • Can't remember
