Large, quite strong, but a little sharp. My 2 year old got a nasty cut from a piece. Maybe just bad luck, idk. We still use it, it was only once. Now it's slightly bent, but we left it and stepped on it a lot. Can still be used.

my 3 year old loves this puzzle but is a bit frustrated that the puzzle doesn't match the picture on the front exactly like all his other puzzles do . It's not as high quality as our Melissa and Doug or Little Collage jigsaw puzzles, but my son loves it thanks to Baby Shark.

The puzzle pieces are extra large, they fit together when you put the puzzle together and kids who love sharks will love it. The pieces are solid and don't feel cheaper or more fragile than any other kid's puzzle you would buy at Target or Walmart. We gifted this to a 4 year old who is an avid fan of all things baby sharks and it was a winner.
