Works but the holes don't match the gate it's supposed to be compatible with. As a result, I had to drill additional holes and buy screws to attach it to the gate.

As others have said; The product is strong, but without the right size screws it is not strong and can pose a safety issue. So head to the hardware store to buy the longer screws that were originally supposed to come with the product.

This could have been 5 stars but I had to go to the hardware store to buy screws to attach the extension to the gate. The bolts that came with the kit were at least 1/2 inch shorter. Otherwise, the gate and extension work well on my porch.

Good quality but a big problem connecting the gate to the extension. And I paid about $35 for stainless steel exterior hardware that didn't even have enough screws to assemble it. The holes didn't match the closing of the gate at all and we had to drill them out.

This extension worked with the gate to create the perfect width to use as a barrier on our patio. The extension bolts are solidly connected to the gate making a longer swing gate, or as we needed the full width in our case we were able to use the sliding aspect commonly used for width adjustment to open and close the gate by sliding the adjustment part .
