I have a chihuahua and it's perfect for them to stay together during the day. The size is perfect for two 10 pound dogs as they have room to rest and move around. It was incredibly easy to put together (it comes fully assembled most of the time) and I find both latches work well. Sometimes one of the dogs gets nervous when I get home and even if she jumps on the gate she doesn't fall/move very little. I've had the door for a month now and the hinge to the door has already broken. We barely opened the door when my dog used the "dog door" instead. I can also assure you that my dog did not damage it as she is a chihuahua and only weighs 4lbs. The unbeatable sale it was purchased from refused to exchange/return the item as it was outside the 30 day window. Definitely disappointing as I just spent $200 on a goal that only lasted a month.
